The Works entailed the supply and installation of several Sacrificial Anode Cathodic Protection (SACP) systems for the 500mm NB Vryburg-Pudimoe bulk water pipeline. The pipeline is located between Vryburg and Pudimoe outside the Klerksdorp area.
The total length of each line pipe is nominally 12 km. The pipe material is 500mm NB API 5L Grade X42, with an ISO 21809-1 Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coating, with a nominal wall thickness of ±6mm.
Services Provided:
- Provision of permanent SACP system;
- Provision of electrical continuity;
- SACP Quality Control and Quality Assurance (QC/QA)
- SACP Installation check out and Hand-Over.
