Design, supply and installation of a 1MWp solar PV plant integrated on the MV network.
The Beledweyne Solar Project is a 1MWp solar PV plant. The PV plant will supplement an existing Diesel Generator plant. The main goal of this plant will be to drive current electrical prices down and increase overall efficiency of the electrical grid. The PV system will produce the bulk of the power to the city of Beledweyne during day time and will be fully integrated into the exiting infrastructure. The plant will also be remotely monitored for performance, efficiency and to assist in preventative maintenance.
The project included a full PV system including the PV modules, Mounting System, Cabling, inverter rooms, Switchgear, Transformers and controls.
